TWO Guernsey skaters have been crowned British champions.
Chloe Dyke and Lucy Ozard were the Sarnian golden girls as they were among eight who represented the island in the British Championships in Artistic Roller Skating in Peterborough, with all achieving notable results.
Dyke, 20, and Emilia Bianco, 19, were both entered into the Senior Solo Dance Championship. Dyke came top, with her highest ever score in the second day's freedance, which she described as 'the highlight of the weekend'. Bianco came second.
Ozard, 16, and Hannah Dyke, 18, competed in the Junior Ladies Solo Dance category. A delighted Ozard managed to come out on top, while Dyke finished fifth overall.
