THE highly-prized Travers Men's Pairs bowls trophy and the British Isles Championship spot that goes with it brought the best out of the semi-finalists at the Corbet Field.
Matt Solway and Todd Priaulx were involved in a really tight match against the in-form Martyn Dorey and Mac Timms, which produced a dramatic finale.
The teams were level at 6-6 after seven of 21 ends before Solway and Priaulx forged ahead to lead 15-10 at the 16th.
However, some superb drawing under pressure from Timms brought them level once more on the 20th.
