THE NETHERLANDS inflicted a four straight defeat on Guernsey yesterday at the KGV and in doing so maintained their unbeaten record to be crowned ICC European Under-15 Division One champions.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Guernsey could only post an under-par total of 112 all out, with Will Fazakerley contributing 44 of those runs.

Sikander Zulfiqar took for 29 for the Dutch.

The visitors then made short work of their run chase, winning by eight wickets with 27.2 overs to spare.

At Port Soif, Ireland also enjoyed a comfortable victory as they beat Scotland by eight wickets to finish as runners-up.
