AFTER bolstering his squad with three quality signings, Jordan Reynolds has another promotion on his mind ahead of Guernsey's debut National Three league campaign.
AFTER bolstering his squad with three quality signings, Jordan Reynolds has another promotion on his mind ahead of Guernsey's debut National Three rugby league campaign.
Having enjoyed unprecedented local success in recent years, the Sarnians are now in the fifth tier of English rugby and are the only fully amateur team in an otherwise semi-pro 14-team league.
Reynolds has lost youngster Luke Jones and Robin Le Cocq from last year's London One South title-winning side, but on the plus side has been able to bring in Villi Tosi, Jason Harvey and Tom Pool.
'Villi has come in from New Zealand as a flanker for a year, effectively to replace Robin, who has gone over there,' Reynolds explained.
'Jason has also come from New Zealand, the same club that Nick Barton and Blair Campbell used to play for, and he will come into the centres.
'Then there is Tom, who has signed from Bristol in the Championship, having played also at National Two level last season, and he can also play as a flanker or a hooker.'
