CAPTAIN Blair Campbell returns to lead out Guernsey on a historic occasion this afternoon.
Footes Lane hosts the club's first National League match on home soil when Dorking will provide stiff opposition for the green-and-whites.
'I have not heard as much hype about a game here outside of the rugby community as I have done this one, apart from perhaps a Siam or the Hove game when pushing for promotion last season,' said coach Jordan Reynolds.
'Without the community behind you, the club could not work as well as it does now and when you get a big crowd for a match like this, it definitely gives the players a boost.
'We have changed the set up this year because we are now charging on the door, as all National League Three clubs do, but now we have all the facilities there on site for everyone to use with the new clubhouse and what we have far exceeds what most other grounds at our level have.'
