Grammar teachers and pupils get in the swim

GRAMMAR SCHOOL teams took to the water yesterday for Skipton Swimarathon At Large.

The event is a spin-off of the annual Swimarathon, which officially started on Wednesday at Beau Sejour. The Guernsey Cardiac Action Group will be this year's main beneficiary.

Teams of Grammar students and teachers began swimming at lunchtime in their school pool and continued throughout the afternoon.

Today, the Baubigny Schools will also be taking part in the At Large event.

Swimarathon committee chairman Jeff Kitts was pleased with how it was going.
