NOT for the first time in recent years, Guernsey's youngsters face a tough obstacle as they attempt to clear the second round of the FA County Youth Cup tomorrow.
Martyn de Garis' under-18 side entertain Oxfordshire at the Corbet Field with a poor recent record in the competition, although they received a bye through the first round this time.
A number of the Sarnian squad also lost 6-2 to the same opposition at under-16 level two years ago, but de Garis is predicting a much closer contest on this occasion.
'I think it will be a really closely-fought and competitive match this time,' he said.
