Surrey Storm link-up a major coup for the island

THE development of Guernsey netball is set to take a major step forward after the announcement of an official link-up with Surrey Storm.

While the Guernsey Netball Association have worked alongside the Super League club previously, this partnership will see a far more regular coaching programme put in place.

It will see Surrey and England star Tamsin Greenway coach the Guernsey representative teams of all ages on four separate occasions in each calendar year.

Greenway is no stranger to the island and held coaching last weekend, with in excess of 14 hours spent across the various groups alongside manager Naomi Taylor, including five hours with the senior squad.
