Le Page takes advantage of switch to claim first win

BEN LE PAGE produced arguably the ride of the day out of 46 competitors in the second round of the Guernsey Motorcycle & Car Club's trials season.

Due to the wet conditions, the juniors were switched from Icart to L'Eree headland where Le Page stepped out of Sammy Bott's shadow to claim his first win by a mere two points.

Despite riding a good trial, Bott suffered at the hands of section two, a steep cliff face, with the Gas Gas unable to launch him to the top.

That said Bott is made of harder stuff and will bounce back at the next trial to seek revenge.
