LA GRANDE MARE step into the unknown tomorrow as they experience their first Hampshire Sevens finals day.

The Channel Islands section champions beat Southsea 6-1 last month to book their place at Rowlands Castle this weekend as group one winners.

Now they face Waterlooville tomorrow morning for a place in the afternoon final against either Basingstoke or Ryde, who meet in the other semi.

'The club and myself are very proud of what the team have achieved so far and we hope we can take that next step and win the whole competition,' said LGM captain Chris Walker, pictured.
