AIMEE PONTE can put another trophy in her cabinet after winning the Elliott Cup.
In a repeat of the Island Women's Championship final, she beat Jan Chamberlain in the Royal Guernsey Ladies' Section scratch knockout matchplay final.
The CI champion, pictured never trailed although, after winning the first with a par four after her opponent failed to get up and down from the right-hand side of the green, she was pegged back early on when Chamberlain holed a 20ft putt to level the match on the third.
However, Chamberlain immediate gave that hole back when she was unable to find her first drive on the fourth and conceded it to Ponte, who was on the green in three.
