A STIRRING second-half performance on Saturday gave Colombians revenge for the one defeat they have suffered this season.
The hockey champions found themselves trailing at the break at Footes Lane, but a super strike within moments of the turnaround from TJ Ozanne gave them the impetus to see off Casuals, who know they are capable of much more.
The sides had produced 10 goals in their first meeting of the season last month, but Casuals had been convincing winners.
On this occasion, despite missing key players in injured Matt Watson and the absent Tristan Cairns and Tim Creasey, Colombians more than matched their opponents to deservedly take the spoils.
The first half was largely even, with both goalkeepers called into action early on as Jake Le Marchant saved Andy Good's drag flick at a short corner before Jason Robilliard kicked away Tim Ravenscroft's strike that was bound for the bottom corner.
