A VERY water-logged track hosted round six of the Guernsey Kart and Motor Club motocross championship.
After puddles were pumped and water moved, the action got under way, but the clerk of the course needed to change part of the track so the youth riders could also enjoy their racing.
The adults were first to turn the wheels in the muddiest conditions for over three years.
Brett Pearce made two wins in the A group with Hamish Moriarty in second and Barney Henry third, while in the MX2 riders Lloyd Wallbridge made two holeshots and a win in the first, Glynn Masterton had his first victory in the second and Mark de la Mare also triumphed in the third race despite only a grid of six riders with this expert adult group.
Jason Langlois, Joe Holden and Aaron Lesbirel all made for the top spot over the three blocks while Dan Harvey made a strong third too.
