Res shock champs

A STUNNING second half comeback inspired by Verona Tomlin saw Resolution IT shock the champions at Beau Sejour netball courts last night.

Nerine A have had things their way for seasons but, from a position of real strength, they fell apart in the final two quarters as Tomlin and GA Kerri Brown produced some clinical finishing in the circle.

Kristy Webber, the Resolution IT captain and centre, described the result as 'awesome' and long before the end players from completed matches needed little persuasion to hang around and see if the fairly unthinkable might happen.

Webber said she was still confident of turning things around at half-time with her side 10 adrift.
