The Sarnians face a second-round trip to Croydon & Old Whitgiftian, a side they thrashed 10-1 in last season's competition, at the very start of a run that led all the way to an agonising semi-final defeat.
But despite entering this match as strong favourites, Guernsey captain and goalkeeper Emma Atkinson will try to ensure that feet remain firmly on the ground.
'In the game last year, that 10-1 scoreline didn't flatter us at all, it was a fully deserved result on the day,' she said.
'We were excellent and they were a pretty weak side, but teams at this level can change players quite regularly over the summer, so it may be a new-look team we face.'
