Kirk shines as champions win Division One title

MOURANT OZANNES A secured yet another Division One indoor cricket title following a comfortable victory over closest challengers Odey Rovers A.

The 112-61 win gives Mourant Ozannes an unassailable 14-point lead with only one week of fixtures remaining.

More importantly, they have a psychological advantage ahead of the end of season Grand Final in which they are currently set to face Rovers A.

This week it was Joshua Kirk, pictured, who starred for the purples, grabbing the player of the match accolade after an impressive four-wicket haul and 21 runs with the bat, highlighting the strength in depth in Lee Savident's squad.
