AS THEIR leader on the field, Blair Campbell has taken the Guernsey Rugby Club higher than they have ever been before.
The first team captain has helped mastermind the GRUFC's rise to the National Leagues, where they are plying their trade this season thanks to a magnificent back end to their 2011-12 London One South season, which saw them win 18 straight games.
They clinched the title with a 39-0 win over Hove in front of a four-figure crowd at Footes Lane, another victory orchestrated by their captain from fly half, who afterwards expressed his satisfaction at what his side had achieved both on the day and during the whole season.
