TOM DRUCE is still targeting a second track hat-trick at the 2013 NatWest Island Games.

Druce, 26, pictured, has previously won five individual track golds over the past three Games and, in Bermuda next summer, is keen to bring his individual 400m haul up to three titles and match his 800 record.

'Hopefully, I will be able to go and get the record as well. I just missed out last time,' he said while on a short break in the island.

But as far as the newly-qualified personal trainer is concerned, 2013 will be very much focused on the indoor season which, for him, starts in Eton this weekend.

He goes over the shortest competitive distance – 60 metres – and he has one eye on the island record of 7.03, held by Dale Garland.
