AFTER another weekend effectively washed out by torrential rain, the possibility of the local club season finishing after the Muratti Vase final is on the cards.

Of 22 games scheduled across last Friday, Saturday and Sunday, only two were played, with the postponements including the three Priaulx League encounters.

With more wet weather forecast this week, that ever-growing re-arranged list could well be added to in the coming days, with this weekend's Priaulx triple header already under threat.

That has caused another re-jig of the fixtures and the League Management Committee's secretary Garry Cortez, pictured, confirmed in his latest email that the Guernsey FA Cup may be put back as a result.
