GUERNSEY'S women's hockey team have landed another home draw in the Investec EH Women's Vase.

The Sarnians' reward for their impressive 6-0 third-round win over Wokingham is a quarter-final with Kent Premier Division outfit Burnt Ash (Bexley) Ladies.

The opposition, who beat Amersham & Chalfont to reach the last eight for the first time, can request for the match to be played at a neutral mainland venue, but Guernsey hope that their proximity to Gatwick will help persuade them to visit Footes Lane.

'We are absolutely thrilled to have a home draw and Burnt Ash (Bexley) look like they are a very socially active club, with a good website and twitter feed up and running,' said island captain Emma Atkinson. 'Hopefully Carry Wray, our manager, can encourage them to fly over.'
