BRADLEY WATSON is predicting that his maiden six-round professional fight this weekend won't last the distance.

The 22-year-old Guernsey fighter, pictured, will step into the ring for the sixth time in the paid ranks on Saturday, as he takes on Francis Croes in Portsmouth.

Despite making a step up from four to six rounds for this contest, Watson is not fazed by the possible extra six minutes of action, as he looks to extend the perfect winning start to his career.

'To be totally honest, I can't see the fight going beyond four rounds anyway,' he said.

'The lad I am fighting is tough and likes to come forward, so he won't hold back, but I am in the best shape of my life and raring to go in there on Saturday.'
