THEY did not lose locally for nine years but now the mighty Nerine have gone down twice in a matter of months.

The consequence of this five-goal setback at Beau Sejour last night is that they stand on the verge of losing their Division One netball crown as Resolution IT join them on the 77-point mark with just a few matches remaining.

The two sides meet once more in what will surely be the decider, but on this evidence, a full strength 'Rezzers' have the armoury to wrest their first championship.

Just as was the case when the two sides first met this season, Resolution IT had the star performer in shooter Verona Tomlin, who was ably supported by GA Kerri Brown.
