Key duo are back

GUERNSEY welcome back two influential players for their Investec EH Women's Vase quarter-final at Burnt Ash on Sunday.

Liz Dudin (pictured) and Aisha Damarell both missed the comprehensive 6-0 third-round victory over Wokingham at Footes Lane last month, but have been named in the 14-strong squad to travel to Kent this weekend.

'Both Liz and Aisha are key to the first team,' said Guernsey captain Emma Atkinson. 'On this occasion, particularly, we are looking to play Liz in a more forward role to increase our strength up front.

'The last round was a lot easier than we thought it was going to be – we were up for a close game and were a bit surprised how it went – but we are fully focused on this game as it being a tough test.'
