'Big Fal' has other matches on his mind

COLIN FALLAIZE is one man with more than just a passing interest in two of this weekend's big sporting battles – and they fall perilously close to one another.

The Guernsey FC assistant coach will hotfoot it down to Footes Lane in time to help them prepare for their FA Vase match, but two hours before that, daughter Amy plays in the under-16 netball 'Muratti.'

Following that, the teenage Fallaize will impressively make her senior debut against Jersey just 24 hours later, but it is her first outing that will have Fallaize snr in a rush.

'I will watch as much of Amy's netball as I possibly can, before getting down to Footes Lane for the final preparations for the Spennymoor match,' he said.
