KERRI BROWN slotted home with seconds left last night to put Resolution IT on the verge of a first Division One title.

Several times on a bitter night at Beau Sejour it seemed that 'Rezzers' had blown their title chances. But in dramatic fashion they sneaked the victory which leaves them one more win from the title and, in so doing, would end Nerine's full decade at the top.

Rezzers still have to beat Nerine B - no formality - next week, to make sure of the title. But surely after this thrilling win, Kristy Webber's side won't pass up their big opportunity now.

Five down midway through the second quarter, Rezzers recovered to be just one adrift at 20-19 down at half-time.

With Verona Tomlin again leading from the front, Rezzers inched two clear at 29-27 at the final break.
