Damarell gets his man for GCB $8m
ROSS KNELLER was the big buy and Tim Duke the steal at the auction night for the third Clydesdale GPL [Guernsey Premier League] competition.

Ian Damarell, the BDO team manager, was delighted to get his man. 'We only had three players that we were prepared to spend big on. GH Smit was one, Kneller and Will Peatfield the others. If Ross had come out first we could have probably got him for less.
'Some of the players at the end went for ridiculously low amounts, and we got five of the eight payers we targeted so I am pleased.'
