FIVE Guernsey rally crews brought most of the trophies back with them when they attended the Daffodil Rally 2013 at Ronez Quarry in Jersey.

The 16-stage, multi-surface event took place in sunshine, which evened the playing field, but it was still very slippery with the Tarmac being covered in cement dust.

Karl Robert and his navigator Chris Pommier got off to a good start, putting in impressive stage times, but Chris and Angus Torode broke a drive shaft on the startline of stage one.

They meant they had to drive two stages on one drive shaft before a quick change by the service mechanic Jason Niles saw them carry on with the event.

Meanwhile, John Eborall was out to entertain and was putting in good stages times in the Peugeot 106 GTI.
