THE first century of the new season has come from former island captain Stuart Le Prevost.
The Cobo stalwart gave a strong indication of what Guernsey will be missing now he has headed into international retirement, with a superb 133 at the College Field on Saturday.
He rescued the GCB Chairman's XI, who were struggling at 64 for four at one stage but recovered to 309 for eight in their allotted 50 overs.
Le Prevost gave two chances, both before he had passed 35.
But once settled he hit the ball typically sweetly and hard, his 113-ball stay including 17 fours and five sixes.
