COUNTY side Sussex have named a strong team to take on the Guernsey national team in this coming week's double header at KGV.

The 11 named have plenty of first-team experience, none more than fast bowler Amjad Khan, pictured, the Copenhagen-born player who was called up for the England Test side on their Caribbean tour of 2009.

The leg-spinning all-rounder Will Beer, who has experience of Guernsey cricket having played in the Clydesdale Bank GPL competition, is also included.

Sussex play Guernsey in a T20 clash tomorrow evening from 5pm and over 40 overs on Thursday, starting at noon.

The full squad is: Elliot Hooper, Joshua Hayward, Leo Cammish, Callum Jackson, Benjamin Shoare, Michael Rippon, Lewis Hatchett, Mohammed Amjad Khan, William Beer, Fynn Hudson-Prentice, Nitesh Patel and Matthew Hobden.
