GUERNSEY'S new regime could hardly have started with a sterner test.
The Sussex CCC second string demonstrated their strength in a T20 against the national side at the KGV last night to cruise to an eight-wicket win with more than eight overs to spare chasing just 79.
It proved to be something of a baptism of fire for Guernsey skipper Jamie Nussbaumer in his first game leading the side since being appointed by new director of cricket Nic Pothas.
'There are always positives to take, but we also know that this is a good few levels up from what we are used to playing in local cricket,' said the captain.
