After completing the domestic league-and-cup double, Guernsey's best took on Jersey champions Nomads in the Upton at Les Quennevais and showed the importance of taking chances in a big game.

After an early period of pressure, Liz Dudin put Indies ahead as she tucked the ball into the bottom corner following a rebounded short corner.

The home side slowly gathered some momentum and created chances, but Catherine Francescon and Julie Harding were unable to convert them.
