Horton third in Stoke

TOBYN HORTON continued his brilliant start to the prestigious Tour Series with a third-place finish at the third round in Stoke-on-Trent.

The Guernsey cyclist, who rides for Team UK Youth, followed up his second-place finish a round earlier in Durham by crossing the line behind just team-mate Yanto Barker and Dean Downing.

It means that Horton, pictured, and his team are joint top of the standings after three of the 11 rounds, with the competitors crossing the Welsh border to race in Aberystwyth tomorrow evening.

Highlights of Horton's third-place finish will be televised at lunchtime today on ITV4, starting at 12.55pm on Sky channel 120.
