ISLAND champion James Hamon and Bobby Eggo, Guernsey's all-time No. 1, are separated by a single shot going into today's final round of the 72-hole tournament at Beau Sejour.
Eggo still heads the scratch section for the Credit Suisse Trophy after a third-round 74, a score matched by Hamon.
They have a one-shot advantage over nearest rivals Danny Blondel and Ian Thomas.
Blondel and Andy Harte produced the day's joint lowest score, a surprisingly high three-over 73, which defending champion Jamie Blondel would have settled for.
