Preparing for the big draw
CHRIS Vermeulen, director of golf at La Grande Mare, and Toby Peatfield, director of stockbroking at sponsors Ravenscroft, are at the La Grande Mare course to make the draw for the inaugural Guernsey Open Matchplay here on This is Guernsey from 12.30pm.

The identity of 12 of the 16 players are already known and will be joined by the top FOUR players at Saturday's strokeplay qualifier at La Grande Mare.
The big names to look out for as they come out will be island champion James Hamon, who is the top seed, No. 2 seed island runner-up Dave Jeffery, and the two competing professionals, Royal Guernsey's Michael Durkin and St Pierre Park's Steve Wilford.
All matches will be played on Monday, 1 July.
