Elizabeth exact revenge

AN EXCELLENT bowling display saw Elizabeth College hammer fierce rivals Victoria by eight wickets at the College Field yesterday.

Having lost the corresponding match in Jersey, the home side got revenge emphatically, bowling Victoria out for 135 inside of their allotted 40 overs.

Matthew Stokes, Andrew Le Page, Tom Nightingale and Ollie Nightingale picked up two wickets apiece, giving their batters a modest total to chase.

And they were never in any danger, as a classy unbeaten 51 from opener Toby Belton took them home with more than nine overs to spare.
