NORWAY may be one of the more ageing sides in Sussex for the ICC European T20 Division One Championships, but they are dangerous first opponents.

Nic Pothas, the Guernsey head coach, pictured, insisted as much last evening after his young squad returned from the picturesque Saffrons ground in Eastbourne with two good wins under their belts against the home side, who are chasing promotion back to the Sussex Premier League.

Guernsey won game one by 34 runs after they briefly seemed to be heading for defeat, while in match two they brushed aside Eastbourne, mainly thanks to a superb swashbuckling 74 from Ross Kneller.

Today at Horsham Guernsey take on the Norwegians in their opening group game of five.

The Norway match starts at 2.30pm.
