AFTER their evolving careers on the world scene, Andy Bridgman and Johanna Asplund will go into their second Island Games with high hopes of success.

The teenage pair, aged 18 and 17 respectively, are the duo who will represent Guernsey in the Laser Radial class in Bermuda, making up half of the four-person Sarnian team.

Also included is the experienced Darragh Lee and Johanna's father Henrik, who is making his Games debut at the age of 48. That duo will both race in the Laser Standard class.

For the older Asplund, his debut is long-awaited but one that he believes could be successful across the Atlantic.

'Our aim as a team going over there is to come back with a team medal and at least one individual medal as well,' he said.
