AFTER the biggest win of his career, Sam Wallbridge is looking to kick on with another medal-winning performance at his debut Island Games.
The 16-year-old produced a brilliant display to win the English Schools 400m hurdles title last weekend with a personal best of 1.84sec. to run 54.21 in Birmingham.
It is an achievement that has been overshadowed somewhat because the race was absent its star name, Jersey's Stan Livingston, after an administration error saw him entered in the wrong event.
Wallbridge, pictured, admits that gave him the belief he could make the most of that stroke of luck, but he still had to run his perfect race.
