The cyclists were the stars of the show in the morning sunshine in Hamilton as Tobyn Horton stormed to individual gold in the men's 100km road race while also playing his part in team gold too, alongside Mat Osborn, Philip Touzeau, Josh Gosselin and Aaron Bailey.
In the women's race, Ann Bowditch was in a thrilling bunch sprint finish for the medals and came away with bronze behind two Bermudians. She also returned to the podium to collect an excellent team silver along with Karina Bowie and Marina Bleasdale.
