Two golds and more on way?

GUERNSEY'S golden girls Nikki Trebert and Rebecca Margetts hope to add to their medal tally after last night receiving the two shooting team golds they have won so far.

The pair have already topped the podium in the women's team air pistol and sport pistol events thanks to combined totals of 1059 and 1064 respectively.

'We're absolutely delighted and I'm hoping we have still got a couple more medals maybe to get before the end of the week,' said Trebert.

Margetts, who has also claimed an individual silver thanks to her score of 349 in air pistol, added that she was 'absolutely over the moon' to have two gold medals dangling from her neck.
