Four from senior squad picked for U19 tournament

FOUR of Guernsey's senior squad from last week's Pepsi ICC European T20 Division One Championships have been named in a strong squad for the 50-over under-19 version in Amsterdam early next month.

Josh Kirk, the Elizabeth College captain, will lead a 14-man squad including senior squad members Lucas Barker, Jordon Martel, Matt Stokes and Zak Damarell.

The ICC European U19 Division 1 Championship and Regional World Cup Qualifier is being staged between 2 and 8 August and will be coached by director of cricket Nic Pothas.

Guernsey Cricket Board CEO Mark Latter described it as 'an exciting squad'.
