REVENGE was sweet for Paul Le Tocq as he claimed individual gold yesterday at the Bermuda High School.

Having lost to his talented young opponent, Ben Li, from the Isle of Man, in the men's singles rubber of the team final earlier in the week, the Guernseyman knew he had his work cut out to come out on top.

In the following all-Guernsey women's final, Elena Johnson lived up to her billing as top seed by overcoming Gayle Lloyd in straight sets.

Guernsey No. 1 Johnson was always going to be a big favourite going into the match and she ran out a 21-6, 21-11 victor.
