And having seen the outright hill record go at Bouley Bay in Jersey on a blisteringly fast Thursday, hopes will be high of another record-breaking local 'National' meeting.
With the Guernsey rounds of the championship celebrating its 40th anniversary, a montage of photos will be on show along the start line.
Running in front of the former Guernsey Brewery site, it will be illustrated photos showing the history and winning records dating all the way back to the 1940s.
'This year marks an important year for motorsport in Guernsey,' explained Guernsey Motorcycle and Car Club president Ian Le Page, organising his first National.
