A racer's nightmare as Priaulx loses contact

A RACING driver relies heavily on his radio to communicate with his team for many reasons during a race, but when this form of communication is absent he could almost be racing in the dark.
For Andy Priaulx this nightmare scenario was what confronted him in his Crowne Plaza Hotels BMW M3 DTM from the moment the lights went out to start the DTM race at the Moscow Raceway.
'I had no radio communications at all for the entire race, so it made it very difficult to know what your pace is, where you are, how other things are working out and who you are racing. It threw me a bit,' said the Guernsey driver.
'To finish 20th is not ideal, but that is the way it is.
'As for the car, balance wise it was a bit oversteery, but I just didn't have enough pace.'
