St Pierre win Rozel Shield

LML ST PIERRE are champions of Lancaster Trustees Evening League Division One again.

Tom Kimber's energetic young side swept to an 11th straight win at Port Soif last evening against bottom of the pile Ravenscroft Independents.

There never seemed any doubt that St Pierre would get the result they wanted once they raced to a 16-over total of 136 for three.

Young Jason Martin contributed an excellent undefeated 71, which was more than the entire Independents team could muster.

They could manage no more than a paltry 57, Jonny Clark contributing 24 of those, as St Pierre regained the Rozel Shield.
