IF THEY are to retain their Division One title, Resolution IT will have to overcome the Thunder and Blitz of Nerine – after the club has effectively split into two for the new season.

With an expanded 10-team top tier of local women's netball being confirmed for the new campaign, which begins on 17 September, the traditional powerhouses have opted to spread their top players around.

They will have four teams in the division, with Nerine Blaze and Nerine Thunder both having an 'A' and a 'B' team, split evenly rather than by a dropping in strength.

Proof of that is with star player and Guernsey Panthers captain Nena Copperwaite leading the Blaze B team.
