THEY are two of the most exciting young fighters the island has produced in years, and Billy Le Poullain and Casey de la Mare can't wait to start their seasons at the big ICG Centre show at the end of the month.
It will be the first time 'affiliated' boxing has been staged at the new venue and both lads are among those who have already been matched with boxers from either Jersey or Bristol.
Alderney born and bred Le Poullain, 18, is hoping he will be matched with the exciting Leonis fighter Tom Frame.
'There is speculation that I might be fighting the Jersey lad.
'He had been supposed to be fighting our Tim Maunder, but Tom has had to pull out. Hopefully, I can fight him instead,' said the fighter who has been a consistent winner after losing his first five bouts as a junior novice.
De la Mare, 17, is lined up to fight the Bristolian Jake Demnery at the ICG on Saturday 28 September.
