GUERNSEY head coach Jordan Reynolds was left with a mixture of encouragement and disappointment after a narrow defeat on the opening day of the National Three London & South-East season.
Home side Tonbridge Juddians edged out the green-and-whites 19-17 on Saturday, with the visitors having a chance to win it late on but they spilled the ball over the line.
'Both teams had their opportunities and we were just really unlucky on the day,' Reynolds said.
'Things did not pan out for us and a couple of their tries were comical at best.'
