THE 'G-Force' came, saw and conquered.
However, Guernsey head coach Jordan Reynolds insisted his side played a bigger part in their own downfall than any pressure exerted by East Grinstead at Footes Lane on Saturday.
Reynolds was in no mood to look for the positives as he felt his side had let a glorious chance to beat one of the most ambitious clubs in National Three London & South-West, having been 16-10 ahead at half-time before having the wind at their backs in the second half.
'We turned the screw on ourselves and allowed them back into the game,' said the GRFC head coach.
'We made our own mistakes in the game today. We have got to play smarter rugby,' added Reynolds before bemoaning the poor options his side took in that second period when he wanted them to use the wind to their advantage and keep turning the opposition around.
