ANDY PRIAULX will be heading down under to Australia next month when he will be swapping his Crowne Plaza Hotels BMW M3 DTM for a Holden Commodore V8 and be racing in the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.

This will be the fourth time he has competed in this iconic Australian touring car race.

'I just love the race and am really looking forward to competing in it again,' the Guernsey driver said.

'It is just before the final race of the DTM series, so I want to say a big thank you to BMW Motorsport for agreeing to me doing it.'

While over the race weekend – 10-13 October – he will not be in a DTM paddock, he will have some company from the series, as he will be sharing the Triple Eight Race Engineering's car with fellow DTM driver Mattias Ekstrom.
